On October 11th (with a rain day of Oct 12th) come join us to celebrate the life of long-time ABC No Rio director, Steven Englander.

Steven left us in December 2024, leaving behind a celebrated legacy. We will pay tribute to our friend and comrade at the El Jardin Del Paraiso garden, located on East 4th Street (between C & D). The event will feature food, non-alcoholic drinks, speeches, and our community coming together to honor one of our friends. And a 5pm there will be a procession led by the brass band, Funkrust, to the East River where we’ll fly Steven’s kites (one of his favorite hobbies).
