It’s time to recycle the ephemera from YESTERDAY’S UNDERGROUND in order to build a strong, vibrant underground for the FUTURE and for FUTURE GENERATIONS to enjoy.

ABC NO RIO has rebuilt itself from the ground up. Now we’re holding a GARAGE(LAND) SALE to raise funds for NEW PROGRAMMING in our NEW FACILITIES. We need donations of COOL STUFF. We want RECORDS by your old bands, and the FLIERS and ZINES you saved. We want the ART you made and the GOOD BOOKS in GOOD SHAPE that your parents and friends left behind when they died. We want your VINTAGE and one-of-a-kind CLOTHES, and old band T-SHIRTS. We want your BUTTONS and ephemera. We want the MUSICAL EQUIPMENT you no longer play so someone else can use it to start a band. Don’t sell your cool stuff on Ebay! Let us sell it in person, and get a good price for ABC.

What we all need more than a closet full of keepsakes is a functioning and fun community center, which is what ABC NO RIO can be so long as we raise the funds to help it run.

The GARAGE(LAND) SALE takes place FEBRUARY 28th and MARCH 1st 2026 at UNIVERSITY SETTLEMENT 189 Allen Street NYC. Start thinning your hoard and cleaning your closets now. Donations will be accepted in a manic weeklong frenzy in February, with exceptions for LARGE COLLECTIONS and items sent from afar.
