Saturday HardCore/Punk Matinee
For over twenty-five years ABC No Rio's Saturday Matinee has been run by a volunteer collective dedicated to providing an all-ages venue for the independent punk and hardcore music scene.
We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive scene where all can feel welcome and comfortable, regardless of race, gender or sexual identity. We do not book racist, sexist or homophobic bands.

Show Booking
To book your band for our Saturday Matinee, email the bookers at punk@abcnorio.org and send a link to your band's page and available lyrics, and the dates you are looking for or are available to play.
If your band still does not have a web page which contains music and lyrics, you can send a hard copy of your music and lyrics to the collective through the US Postal Service. Send your tape or CD by regular mail in an envelope. DO NOT SEND by Express Mail, UPS, or Federal Express.
We book both local and touring bands. We book shows for Saturdays only. Doors open for our shows at 3:00pm and shows begin by 3:30 or 4:00pm.
