On October 11th (with a rain day of Oct 12th) come join us to celebrate the life of long-time ABC No Rio director, Steven Englander.

Steven passed away in December 2024, leaving behind a celebrated legacy. We will pay tribute to our friend and comrade at the garden, located on East 4th Street (between C & D). The memorial will feature food, non-alcoholic drinks, speeches, and our community coming together to honor one of our friends. And a 5pm, there will be a procession led by the brass band, Funkrust, to the East River, where we’ll fly Steven’s kites (one of his favorite hobbies).
